Electric Charging Stations

Texans’ interest in driving electric cars has increased in recent years, so H-E-B is growing our charging station footprint in order to meet our customers’ needs!

Today, many customers rely on H-E-B Fuel pumps to refill their tanks. Looking into the future, we’re going to see a greater mix of fuel and electric-driven cars on the road. So H-E-B is preparing for this change by expanding our ability to get you where you need to go, no matter what car you drive!

A handful of Central Market and H-E-B stores already have fast EV charging stations. We just completed a supercharger at our Hutto store in March 2022, and we’re excited to add them to our three new stores in the DFW area: Frisco, Plano and McKinney! We’re committed to increasing the accessibility of these chargers with a plan to install chargers to an additional 40 stores by 2025. We are currently working with a variety of suppliers to determine our next installations, so that you never have to worry about your range.
