H-E-B Donates to Paper For Water

H-E-B is proud to support local environmental organizations like Dallas-based Paper for Water who were recently featured on the Kelly Clarkson show.

At the impressively young ages of 5 and 8, sisters Katherine and Isabelle set out on a mission to help other girls worldwide who were spending their days hauling water instead of attending school. These sisters began creating handmade origami ornaments to raise money for clean drinking water across the globe. Over 10 years later, they have raised $3.5 million, built wells in 20 countries, and given 65,000 people access to clean water. To honor this incredible work, Katherine and Isabelle were recently recognized as the first teenage recipients of the Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award.

In support of the work Paper for Water is doing to conserve the environment, H-E-B donated $10,000 to help continue this effort for years to come. Watch the full Kelly Clarkson Show segment below.
